A new chapter began on April 1, 2025, when we joined the TowneBank family. Together, we can build an even stronger community asset as a local bank with financial professionals who live, work, play, and give back in our communities. We look forward to coming under the TowneBank name in June 2025.
Our History
In 1999, a few dedicated people had a vision to create a Richmond bank, locally owned and operated by individuals who have the same concerns for their community as you do. Over the years, Village Bank, now a Division of TowneBank, has expanded to meet the needs of the community and grown to include 9 branch locations across Greater Richmond and Williamsburg, a full-service mortgage corporation, and an experienced and passionate team of Business Bankers who solve problems and build businesses.
