Our History
In 1999, a few dedicated people had a vision for Village Bank. Watching out-of-state banks moving into Richmond and diluting the local banking community, this group decided to create a Richmond bank, locally owned and operated by individuals who have the same concerns for their community as you do. Over the years, the Bank has expanded to meet the needs of the community and today serves our customers with 9 branch locations across Greater Richmond and Williamsburg, a full-service Mortgage Corporation and an experienced and passionate team of Business Bankers who solve problems and build businesses.
